2006 was a great year for our company as so many of you discovered us - and we discovered you. Like minded people who have an interest in connecting both online and off to share passion and experiences for wine, balance and good living.
We are just at the early stages of creating our membership program which until now has only been a monthly newsletter and invitations to Members Only events. There's a lot of information on our site and it can be viewed for free.
We're growing and expanding and want to add to our membership benefits at W&W because there's nothing worse then joining something only to find out that there's no there there. So here's a list of some of the new features that will certainly make it worthwhile to join and to invite your friends to join.
Our newsletter will be an on-going feature. It will now feature monthly members only offers - this month it is a complimentary subscription to the HOT! new Virtual magazine VIV. You won't believe this until you see it - the magazine moves - literally. Want to see the eyeshadow in a lighter palate to go with your blonde hair, just click and the display changes. Want to see the woman doing the yoga pose so you can do it yourself - VIV takes you through the motions - virtually.
You must be a member to get these offers - and we will not sell your name to any of our sponsors or partners. All of the partner or sponsor offers come directly from W&W and you can choose to participate.
As a member, you'll also get a reduced fee on our travel concierge service. Normally, $150 minimum planning fee for wine tours, etc., the concierge fee if $99 for members. Want an "insiders view" of wine country - it's worth every penny.
About our members only events. It is important that we know the zip code where you live so that we don't send you an invite for something in Chicago when you live in Scottsdale. And, knowing where our members live helps us to identify markets where we will get a good attendance for our events. So if you'd like to help us come to a city or town near you with one of our Women & Wine Experiences, then tell your fellow wine lovers to sign up as members. Our next events will be in LA, Palo Alto, and Dallas.
This is going to be another great year and with the intro of W&W Wiki next week, you'll be able to contribute your stories and recommendations and become a part of building our community. It's very exciting as we get a lot of mail with great stories from your travels, your interest in becoming involved with wine as a career, etc. This is really a place to call your own.
So stay warm. Cozy up with a glass of something full-bodied and red and a good book (I'm reading the sequel to the Rotters Club by Jonathan Coe - it's great!).
Best for 2007.
Julie
